Learn AI Prompt Engineering Playfully!
Prompt Engineering as a Game!
We've seen countless formats over the past years – from classic AI workshops to modern AI labs. But one thing keeps coming up
Many offerings explain AI, but don't teach how to think with it.
This becomes especially evident in AI prompting:
• Too much lecture-style teaching, too little practice
• Too many PowerPoint slides, too little interaction
• Too many generic tools, too little hands-on competence
The result: After the workshop, participants know what prompt engineering theoretically is – but not how to actually apply it in everyday life.
And certainly not how to engage meaningfully with AI agents or chatbots.
Our Solution: An Interactive AI Prompting Workshop – as a Game
We wanted to change exactly that. So we developed an entirely new format:
An AI prompting workshop that doesn't just explain – but challenges, trains and inspires.
The centerpiece: A custom-built game based on an interactive prompt battle.
Participants compete against each other – and against the AI.
They prompt, deceive, analyze – and learn what truly great prompting looks like.
The Principle: Prompt Like a Pro – and Fool the AI
Our workshop revolves around the central question:
"Is this the answer of a human – or a chatbot?"
We give participants tasks where they must prompt the AI so that its answers appear as "human" as possible.
Others, in turn, must figure out which answers come from real people – and which from the AI.
Prompt engineering becomes a strategy game here: Whoever understands how an AI agent thinks, wins.
Whoever prompts creatively, precisely and tactically – scores.
What You Can Learn About AI in 10 Minutes
In the shortest time, participants experience:
- how the impact of prompts becomes directly measurable
- where the strengths and weaknesses of chatbots and AI agents lie
- how targeted questions, hints and context control lead to significantly better results
- how prompting can be applied in everyday and professional life – from emails to complex analyses
Many are surprised by how poorly some AI performs on seemingly simple tasks.
For example, counting letters – a classic where almost every generative AI fails.
An AI Workshop That Sticks
Our goal was not to build yet another prompting course – but a workshop that sticks.
And it works:
- Experience instead of theory
- Competition instead of slides
- Reflection instead of passive listening
We've tested the game multiple times with teams, companies and educational institutions – most recently at the to:DO project lab "Task Force KI" in Dortmund.
The feedback was clear:
"We didn't just understand prompting – we felt it."
Premiere at DIWODO – and Soon at Your Company
The public premiere of our AI prompting game takes place at the Digitale Woche Dortmund (DIWODO).
But we're already offering the format as an interactive AI prompting workshop for companies, schools and public institutions.
Whether for specialist departments, HR teams, innovation projects or internal training – the game can be flexibly adapted and scaled.
On-site, remote or hybrid.
Conclusion: Anyone Who Wants to Use AI Daily Must Master Prompting
Being able to write good prompts is not just a gimmick – it is a key competence for the working world of tomorrow.
Our format doesn't just bring employees up to speed with current technology – it gives them the ability to
work with AI confidently, purposefully and creatively.
Because only those who speak the language of AI can truly control it.
