Langdock Alternative: Ziya ONE Compared
Langdock is an established AI platform from Berlin and, for many companies, a good way into AI. Ziya ONE is the alternative for companies that need more than an AI workspace in a chat: their own AI apps for their processes, local AI without being a corporation, and one partner from strategy to operations.
Book an initial callThe short version
Langdock is a good fit if you want to roll out a model-agnostic AI chat with agents to many employees quickly, prefer to start self-service, and care about certifications such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
Ziya ONE is the better fit if your most important use cases are not solved in a chat but need their own apps with their own interface. Or if your data has to stay 100 % in-house but you do not have 5,000 employees. Or if you want strategy, implementation and training from one source.
At a glance
- Langdock offers chat and agents as its base package, with workflows, governance and an API as add-ons, and names more than 10,000 companies as customers.[1]
- The Business plan costs €25 per user per month, the Business Max licence with five times the usage limits €99, both excluding VAT, for up to 1,000 users. Volume discounts start at 51 licences, with a further 20 % for annual billing.[1][2]
- AI models are either included in the licence price with usage limits, or paid directly to the model provider through your own API keys (BYOK).[2]
- Workflows: the base package includes 2,500 workflow runs per month. The Business package starts at €539 per workspace per month for 40,000 runs. AI usage in workflows is billed on top, by consumption.[1][2]
- Governance is free until 1 January 2027, then an add-on from €3.50 per user per month with monthly billing.[1]
- Hosting in the EU, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II.[1]
- A dedicated deployment, meaning on-premise or private cloud, is part of the Enterprise plan, according to the documentation from at least 5,000 users.[2]
- Internal apps for teams are announced on the website as “coming soon”.[1]
- Ziya ONE is the AI agent platform for every employee and runs on ZiyaOS, Ziya's AI operating system.
- Agent chat with company knowledge, workflows with approvals, and results as finished Word, Excel or PowerPoint files.
- Custom AI apps with their own interface for individual processes, such as contract review, quotes, minutes or presentations. Built by Ziya or low-code by your own team.
- Model-agnostic, including bring your own AI.
- Automatic model choice: for each agent and use case, the model that best balances quality, speed and cost is set centrally.
- Ziya Conductor technology: our own development for token efficiency. Requests get to the same result with far fewer tokens.
- Operated in German data centres, optionally as a dedicated customer instance, or 100 % locally on your own hardware with local AI models, with no minimum number of users.
- A fixed monthly platform price by user tier. Model costs transparent per user, agent and use case.
- Plus AI strategy with Ziya Navigator and workshops with Ziya Campus.

Where Ziya ONE fits
Langdock and Ziya ONE both have an agent chat for every employee. The difference is underneath: in Ziya ONE the chat is one app of many on ZiyaOS, and every further app uses the same connections, permissions and models.
Please check this contract against our standards and look at liability, term and …
Happy to. Which standards do you mean exactly?
Everything happens in one chat window.

The chat is one app of many.
Every alternative has a gap.
Most routes are strong as a platform or strong as an app. ZiyaOS brings both together: a core with governance and real apps for your users.
Platform and app at once.
A core with permissions, connections and cost control. On top of it, real apps for your users.
Our own placement of the categories, schematic
- Bought single appsA finished interfaceEvery app brings its own vendor, contract and data flow
- Custom build per appFits exactlyThe whole stack, every time
- Office assistantsConnections to Office in placeWork happens in the assistant, not in apps of your own
- AI chat platformsChat and agents for everyoneThe process stays in the chat
- Workflow toolsMany connectionsNo interface for users, experts build every flow
Horizontal for everyone. Vertical for your processes.
Both run on the same core, with the same permissions, the same connections and the same cost control.
For every process a prompt that someone writes again.
For every process an app, all on one core.
An app instead of a prompt lottery.
In a chat, the result depends on how well someone asks. An app sets the path: the buyer in purchasing uploads the quote, clicks Check and gets the comparison with her framework contracts.
Check Berger's quote against our framework contracts, look at prices, payment terms, delivery time and …
Happy to. Which framework contracts do you mean?
The one for electrical components, I'll upload it.
Here is a summary in 14 points.
Is Berger's quote all right?
The quote looks broadly in line with the market.
Everyone asks differently, every result is different.
Compared with Framework contract electrical components
- Unit prices3 items above the framework price, FC § 4.2Deviation
- Payment terms14 instead of 30 days, FC § 6.1Clarify
- Delivery time10 working days as agreed, FC § 5.3Compliant

The same every time, traceable every time.
Build instead of waiting.
Your process is on no one else's roadmap. Connections, permissions, models and audit logging come with the AI operating system, and your team concentrates on what only you know.
Your process does not appear on this roadmap.
Your process is the starting point, not one request among many.
