How can AI really be used effectively?
We asked this question in two very different settings over the past few weeks – and both times surprised with the same answer: With our Prompting Game.
Workshop 1: W-tec "Visibility Lab"
As part of the Visibility Lab workshop series, we tried out the game for the first time with a smaller group.
The challenge: Formulate prompts so that the AI responds as humanly as possible.
The suspense: Guess whether the answer comes from a human or a machine.
The result:
- Many aha moments
- Concrete tools for everyday use
- And a tangible realization that even small prompt changes can make a big difference

Workshop 2: Premiere at DIWODO at the Ziya Headquarter
Just a short time later came the baptism by fire: nearly 100 participants at the prompting workshop during the Digitale Woche Dortmund (DIWODO).
What many wondered beforehand: "How is a workshop atmosphere supposed to emerge?"
The answer: With four groups, four rooms, four game masters – and a whole lot of energy.
Here it became clear:
- Prompting works not only in small teams, but also in a large event format.
- Competition, creativity and interaction make the topic tangible for everyone.
- Prompt engineering becomes a skill that you don't just understand – you experience it.
The atmosphere? Electrifying. Each round a bit better, each answer more precise, each discussion more exciting.
Our Conclusion
Whether small lab or big stage – the Prompting Game brings AI to life.
It shows how important good prompts are and how easily you can make real progress through practice, creativity and reflection.
Because one thing is clear:
Writing good prompts is not a gimmick.
It is the key competence for the working world of tomorrow.
